ABOUT
We are the Association of Philippine Physicians of the Greater Cincinnati (APPGC). We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote communication and cooperation among Philippine physicians in the Cincinnati Metropolitan area and other organized groups in our community.
With almost 50 current members, the physicians practice in various specialties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Founded in 1978, the APPGC has made considerable contributions to health care in the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area.
The objectives of the organization are to promote its members and to assist the Filipino physicians' integration with the Cincinnati medical community, to provide an opportunity to socialize and network with fellow Filipino physicians, and to provide educational activities for its membership.
The APPGC had provided many CME activities over the years and recently partnered with Lindner Center of Hope and UC Health to present mental health lectures as continuing medical education for primary care providers.
Members and their families also regularly volunteer at the Little Sisters of the Poor, a home for the aged. In addition, APPGC has provided necessary aid to disaster victims in the Philippines. Recipients of APPGC donations include:

Mercy Fairfield Hospital
Down’s Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati
Barrett Cancer Center
Ronald McDonald House (a “home away from home” for families of children receiving
treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center)
New members are especially welcome to continue or expand the organization's work and mission.
